I looked on the Canadian iTunes store and the new single is nowhere to be found! Why is this? When will it be available?

Its not on the UK itunes either - so your not alone.

Not on swedish ether so most likley it is only the US that have it

There is some way to go in there and use the US version from another country. That gives you access to anythign we can download here in the US. Faith Hill fans did it when "Mississippi Girl" first came out, but I'm not really sure what the procedure is.
