WooHoo 24 hours from now I will sitting in Fox Theater waiting for the 1st Trisha concert of my Mini-Trisha tour. I can hardly wait. Hopefully I will not be too tired from the 1 1/2 hour drive home tomorrow night to post a report on the concert.

Yay! I just arrived in Bakersfield for the show tomorrow night. I am not sure what to do during the day, but that's ok. I'm excited!!!

There is supposed to be a riverwalk and there is a museum at Buck Owens Crystal Palace. I will not be getting there until late afternoon so I don't have as much time to fill.

Congrats Denise and Trixie7 - enjoy your concerts (of course I know you will). Can't wait to hear all the details.

I was kinda hoping she would do a meet n greet afterwards but she says shes gonna fly back home for her birthday...to see "him."....haha i swear thats what she said.

My first Trisha concert...my first concert...but hey..im 12.
She sounds so awesome and looks great.

Just got home. Trisha was great as usual. Heather is back yeah! New bass player tonight, she is a chick and she really likes to dance while she plays. She plays with Don Henley and came up for this show. Don't know if it is a long term addition or a short fill-in. We will see if she is with her in Palm Desert on Thursday. Trisha did say that she was going home to Garth for her birthday, because some loud guy kept asking where her old man was and why wasn't he here for her birthday. The theater is old and I don't think the accoustic were that great but Trisha sound great anywhere. The only thing that would have made it better was if it lasted 5 hours and she sang all of her songs. It looked like the theater was pretty much full and the crowd was up.

I know I don't have the order exactly correct but I think I got all the songs. I think I am going to take a sign asking for Down on My Knees at the next one. I just love that song.

After the show I had to get and iced tea for the road at McDonalds and as I was walking out I saw one of the tour buses heading down the road towards the airport.

I couldn't find my camera so I bought a throw away digital at a Rite-Aid and used it but I don't think the pix will be very good. I will definitely find my camera for Thursday night.

Time to sleep will fill-in more info tomorrow as I remember things....

I'm glad she sang Cowboys are My Weakness-I just love that song, and you can tell that Trisha really enjoys singing it live! She gets such cute little expressions when she's singing that song! I also like how she talks about it! I'm glad you got to hear it!
I'd take a sign, I bet if she sees it, she'll sing it! That's one of my favs!(of soooo many!)

I'm really, Really glad that Trisha is able to go home for her Birthday, and be with Garth! She deserves to have Her Special Day with just him and her, or whoever she wants to be with! Too bad it's only 1 day off for her!

Remembered on cute comment....when she first started talking she said it had been two years since she had been to Bakersfield and she really had a good time last time....of course the crowd cheered loudly and then she said if anyone asked her what she thought the most romantic place in the world was her answer was Bakersfield, California....of course the crowd went wild.

Back to work today then tomorrow off to Palm Desert for Trisha concert #2

I love it when she slides those comments about the G-man in her sets. It makes me laugh cuz she never has to say his name. She gets all smiles and of course the audience loves it! Thanks for the reviews...sounds like a great show!
