WOW! Trisha was ON tonight! (but then, isn't she every night). Trisha mentioned how she loves coming to Humphreys because she always gets such a good crowd and I must say we were great, lol. We were quite the lively bunch, yelling out songs, and comments galore. I'm still on a high, so my comments may be kind of hodgepodge and rambling.

Someone called out WCNO's song "Down On My Knees" early on and she came out and did it as an encore. It was definitely worth the wait. When Trisha intro'd it a woman in front of me yelled out "yes" and then a loud "thank you" to which Trisha replied "You're welcome". I was mesmerized and this woman was wiping away tears. Trisha absolutely TORE - IT - UP! I've been to a few concerts and every once in a while I've experienced some extra special, really touching performances and this was one of them, for me.

She debuted another new song and talked about how the next single probably won't come out until after the first of the year, but that she's already thinking about which one it might be and how it helps her to sing them a few times to figure it out. I loved this one. "This Is Me You're Talking To". It makes me more anxious for the CD to come out, so I can listen to it again. So far I'm really lovin' the new songs. She got a great response from the crowd to "Cowboys Are My Weakness" too.

After the concert, my friend, who goes to maybe one show a tour, said it was one of the best shows she's been to and that several of the songs had her tearing up. She said it got her wanting to go to Laughlin. Yup, Trisha can do that to ya. Well that's all I can think of for now. Chalk up another fantastic show by Trisha. Next stop for me...Laughlin.

Glad you had a great time. I have goose bumps just thinking about her doing Down On My Knees again. She just lets it all out on that one. Hopefully she will do This is Me You're Talking To in Laughlin. Tomorrow we are off to #6 of 6.

Wow sounds awesome! I would love to hear Down on My Knees at a show, but I have never heard that one live. That is still one of my all-time favorites. I just love the way she tears up the bridge of that song. If and when I get to go to another show, I'll have to request that one. I meant to do that at the last show I went to, but of course, it slipped my mind during the meet and greet. LOL! Have fun tonight in Laughlin! I can't wait to hear the new songs, sounds like this will be a fabulous new collection.

Yes,I was there last night! Trisha was talking about her shoes, and several times had to say"No you can't have them"! She showed them to the crowd while giving a background story on them, and they were red.She made a joking reference to Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz.

Amy Dalley opened for her.She had Amy come back out on stage, and they sang "You're No Good" which was a big hit for Linda Ronstadt. She did another song that was written by Linda Ronstadt (without Amy),and I think it may be on her upcoming album.

It was a wonderful performance.Wish everyone could have been there!

Great crowd, great performance! Definitely the best of the four shows I was able to attend. Trisha at Humphrey's...it doesn't get any better than that! I'm hoping she'll be back during her 2008 tour.

Okay, as an inveterate Linda Ronstadt fan, here's my question: WHAT THE ****?! blink.gif
