7am-Me on my way to work will listen
11am-Mom will tune in at work(i will be working and NO RADIOS!!"
3pm-Dad will tune in-the king of radio contests(I will still be working)
5pm-Me on the cell, mom on her cell, dad on the house phone! Just hope mom can figure out her cell quick enough!

Are there tips on radio contests? If so please SHARE! I wish it wasnt just caller 18 and there was trivia because I(and all of you) would crush on trivia when up against the average joe!

Oh and by the way Y108 hadnt added "Heaven Heartache and the Power of Love" then suddenly it was added and is now up to nearly 20 spins a week...lol good job Big Machine!

Ok so me,the house phone, and my cell phone have been over working on this

Today at 11am I was caller 9....(you need to be caller 18)
Today at 3pm I was caller 1,6,7,16,17
Today at 5pm I was caller 1,6

Talk about frustration?!?!?!

The contest is Trisha karaoke so he says a line from a Trisha song and you complete the lyric on the verse
I also called the DJ and said
"Look I know you recognize me voice I have called daily everyday since late July requesting "Heaven Heartache and the Power of Love" he did recognize me....I went on to say "So you need to QUIT giving this to some Bubba Joe who is sitting at home infront of google looking at these lyrics saying Trisha Who?" he just laughed and gave me advice on how to play the game and get through easier which did work hahaha this is very frustrating

this goes on all week caller 18 wins the CD and on Friday at 5pm they pick the grand prize winner

you would think they would play the new song alot but no still about 13-15 spins a week

KKGO here in Los Angeles is running a similar contest. Except it is tied to a Garth giveaway. The 20th caller wins Garth's new cd and Trisha's new cd and then they get entered in a grand prize drawing. The first winner gets a trip to KC and the 2nd winner gets the trip to Nashville to see Trisha. So far I have only been the 8th caller once, the rest of time just a busy signal. Even if I win the cd and get into the drawing Murphy's law would have me win the Garth trip. Nothing against Garth but the Trisha trip sounds much better. I guess all we can do is to keep calling and crossing our fingers.

yea I think if I won the Garth trip I would see if the Trisha winner wanted to trade lol
