I was reading old articles on Trisha on cmt.com and came across this and SOOOO wish it would have happened it would have been a dream come true

It's still in the talking stages, but don't be surprised if Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood and Martina McBride join forces next summer for a "Ladies of Country Tour." "We're not sure about that yet," a spokesman for Creative Artists Agency says. "We're working on it." McEntire will be starring on Broadway in Annie Get Your Gun from January until late May.

With all due respect, I disagree. I think Martina is overrated. Trisha knows the difference between singing triple forte and yelling- Martina does not. Trisha also has very estute interpretive ability. Martina doesn't even come close. If they toured together and Trisha sang first, I think Martina would be embarrassed.

so i guess martina would have to go first? so trisha can show her how its done

Wasn't this the Girls Night Out tour that Reba did, or was this article after that? I don't remember. I know Reba was on it, and Martina... maybe Sara Evans too? There may have been one or two others, but those were the major ones--for some reason CDJ comes to mind. It wasn't a bad tour, it was the first time I heard Martina sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

If Trisha was on it, though, I would have wanted to see her be on it equal time as Reba, and that wouldn't have happened.

I went to the GNO tour and CDJ was on that tour and I believe Jamie O'Neal too. And I thought the same thing, that if Trisha would have been on that tour I would have wanted her to have the same time as Reba.
