Hi Everyone!

I hope all is well with you and that life is going good. I know that our country has been hit by a tragedy with the sad events at Virginia Tech, but tomrorow, my grandma, Elizabeth, is having major surgery on her back, and to be honest, I'm quite scared for her. She's 76, but in good health for her age. It's an experimental procedure and her prognosis is good. However, it's still nervewracking.

Please take a moment and pray for my Grandma Elizabeth as she faces this surgery.

I would really appreciate it, as would she and my entire family! I'll keep you all posted, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Many Blessings,

Sarah, I am glad to hear she is out of surgery and doing good. I will keep her in my prayers. I am sorry I didn't see this sooner, I was working all day yesterday and so didn't get on the computer. Glad to hear she is doing well though! Will keep her in my prayers. Please keep us posted.

Oh, and every person and every prayer is important. Even when huge tragedies are happening, it doesn't mean that one person or one problem isn't still important to God. You know? That's just my thought on asking for prayers - for everything. We keep it all in prayer - the big things as well as the little things that matter too.

Hi Sarah ~ I do apologize that I didn't see this earlier - Haven't been on here in a couple days. I hope and pray that your grandma comes thru recovery okay and will be back to normal in no time. With prayers comes miracles ~ and I'm a firm believer and can testify to the miracles I've witnessed in my life.

Keeping you, your family and your grandma in my thoughts and prayers!
God Bless!

She's up and walking and very doped up, but no longer in any pain--and that's the point. Thank you so much for your prayers, I know they've helped! Please keep them coming! Y'all are the best!

Hey All,

I thought I'd give you an update on my grandma...the truth is, she's not doing well...and I'd really appreciate any continued prayers for her....here's what's going on:

She somehow contracted menegitis, it went away with antibiotics--thank God. But, now they're thinking that's there's fluid at the base of her brain, top of her spine, I don't know, but I know it's not good.

My mom is taking a flight up to Reno Wed. morning to sort the whole thing out, hopefully, she'll be able too.

My grandma is really drugged up and not in pain, which is good, but her spirits are kind of down and she's slurring her words--which is what we're most concerned about and the Dr's cannot figure out why.

Anyway, things could be worse, but they could also be a lot better.

She thought she'd be home by now, it's been 13 days since her surgery...it was a really stressful weekend and once again, I'd really appreicate any and all prayers you could send her way! She could use them!

Thanks so much, I'll keep you posted!

Many Blessings,
-Sarah Liz

Sarah ,

If it's any comfort you may like to know that drugs can slur speech.
I'm glad she's not in pain, and I will keep you all in my prayers.
I would like you to know that I've personally seen a good friend come out of a coma through pray, seen a person talk for the first time in over a year since an injury, and seen a man live through an entire night after a heart attack and no medical treatment (prayer alone),and No matter what ,Jesus is the ultimate healer. God bless you and yours.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for all your prayers! My grandma is at home resting comfortably in her back brace...as comfortable as that can be! Anyway, she's doing a lot better and still has a long road of recovery ahead of her, but at least the infections are cleared up and gone and she's at home! Thanks again for all your prayers, everyone, they were heard, asnwered and much appreciated! Y'all are the best!

Many Blessings,
