Hi,

Was wondering if anyone picked up Alison Krauss' new CD, A Hundred Miles or More. I love her voice. This collection seems to be a compilation with some(5) new songs.

Any feedback?

It's a wonderful album--well worth it just for "Missing You", which is a fantastic remake! You won't be disappointed with any of it, though.

It has been a good spring for new CDs; Mary Chapin Carpenter, Joshua Payne, Norah Jones and Alison Krauss. (I'm sure I left out some other good ones.) It seems my favorite artists are on a similar release schedule.

I (finally) picked up the new Alison Krauss cd. Thanks for the feedback. The songs do not necessarily resonate with me personally, but there is something divine about her voice, truly divine.

I am not a religious person. But DOWN TO THE RIVER TO PRAY transcends this earthly realm. MMM MMM ! Those harmonies...

I thought it was also a fantastic way to bring together all those songs she has on various soundtracks, as well as add new ones.

So right! Alison and John Waite are better than the original version of John's. I really like it
