I was watching the CMA's last night and like every year artist after artist came out with those ear monitors and about half ripped one out after issues. I seem to notice them every year. But I realized all the years I watched Trisha on the CMAs,ACMs,AMAs, Oscars ect ect ect basically all live shows I have never seen those in her ear. Now granted she has her hair down alot but I thought you would see the battery pack on the back of her dress like you do with Carrie,Taylor and others. And at the 1997 CMAs I didnt see any such thing on Trisha. Same thing with her perfomance with Pavarotti and her hair was up. So it can be done and she does it?

As far as I know, Trisha has never used those air plugs. She's always used the floor monitors. Which is another thing I love about Trisha. And she still uses a corded mic, not a cordless or those head mics.

What are floor monitors.

I have never seen Trisha use a head set mic, she uses cordless ones a good bit but is one of the few to still use corded mics.

Do you know anyone else who dosent use those ear monitors? I think I have seen just about every artist use em, especially at award shows

Floor monitors are like mini-amp speakers that sit really close to the floor of the stage and angle back up towards the artist/band so they can hear themselves and the music.

Trisha is just about the only person I have seen in recent years who doesn't use in-ear monitors.

She also refuses to allow anyone to use Pro-tools on her in the studio!

As for the ProTools I knew about that and it makes me more proud than anything else to be a fan. So few people can say their fav artists dont use ProTools and still sound as good as her. I know Vince dosent use em either.
