As I as getting ready to leave the house, they were saying Trisha is coming on, but I couldn't wait around! UGH.....does anybody else's work get in the way of your personal life!! hahaha.

Yes, I got to see her. She said she was hoarse and would give it her best shot. She said if she didn't sound good, it was all Garth's fault. She sounded great. You wouldn't know that there was anything wrong with her vocal chords.

Well, my friend and I were in NYC on business, hanging out in our hotel room watching the TODAY Show and heard Matt Lauer say that Trisha Yearwood would be on in the next 1/2 hour segment...so we flew out of our room(looking really scary since we didn't have time to shower), headed down to Rockfeller Center and the TODAY show set. (I recall seeing on TYFC that Trisha was going to be on the TODAY show soon, but the exact date must have slipped my mind).

Thinking Trisha would be outside on the stage, we worked our way up to the rail and waited...and waited....only to realize that she was in the indoor set so we made our way over to the big window and lo and behold, there was Trisha!!! We waved like crazy people and think we spotted us

Although short, it was so great to see her....and to top it off, my co-workers saw us on TV in the crowd and luckily the meeting we were in town for didn't start until 10am so we didn't get in trouble! Listened to the new CD over and over during our trip~love it!
