Does anyone know what Trisha performed at the recently held Toys are Us fundraiser? Press release said Garth was there too...Did they perform together? Just wondering....

Trisha did perform, but I think Garth was just there with her. There's a story on the news page here at ty.com and also over at CMT.com. There is a picture at CMT...They look fantastic (as always).

The Toys "R" Us Children's Fund's 22nd annual gala in New York City raised approximately US$5 million last night to benefit children in need. The fundraising event was hosted by comedian Martin Short and featured a performance by country music stars Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks.

They always seem to sing Walkaway Joe when they're together at shows.

Who cares, they Sang, how cool is that?! Wish I could have been a fly on the wall!

The news page only says that Trisha sang - with a "special appearance" by Garth. I think maybe that means that he was there - and she sang. But I could be very wrong.

I just wish I could have been there! Wouldn't that have been cool? NY isn't too far from CT . . .
