Hey, just wondered if you could all keep me in your prayers today, I'm going for an ultra sound to get my thyroid checked out. I'm hoping that nothing is really wrong, but at the same time they find an answer as to why i'm having little panic attacks and my heart is going all funny. Thanks

Hey Mel, I'll be praying for you. I kind of had a little spell like that last year, and all turned out well. I just need to not let my job stress me out as much and get more sleep! HaHa! Good luck with the tests, I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Let us know how it goes.

I'm back from the Dr's.....my ultra sound went well and now i get to sit and wait cuz of course they dont tell you any results at the time. So I get to wait about a week but if i find out anything i will let you know.

Thyroid problems can influence a daily life routine which can be hard sometimes.
Melanie, I usually get my results right after the medical examination. What's the reason for telling you the results that late?
Anyway, hope everything is ok!!!

It usually takes forever and a day to get back results here, and i was surprised to find out it would only be a week... If it is my thyroid that is messed up, it would be the solution to soooo many things.

I sure hope it comes back with some answers for you Mel! We've been praying . . .

I will keep you in my Prayers as well. Hopefully you know what is going on very soon. I too suffer from panic attacks and anxiety, along with the the heart palpitations. Mostly when I start to panic though. Then my eyelids will start to "twitch" and the whole works. They tested my thyroid too and everything was fine with it. Let us know when you have an update.

I thought maybe it was anxiety attacks and up until a few days ago at least anyway. I'm almost 80% sure that it is my thyroid (though i haven't heard anything yet), but I'm having major breathing issues. They said that i would find out in about a week and its just too long to wait sometimes, so i'm hoping someone will call me earlier. I dunno. Oh well trying not to worry about it too much, but its hard.

Hi Melanie, Just checking back. My grandmother had thyroid problems, and she had surgery and was on medicine. She did great with both. So if they find it is thyroid, I have no doubt that they will be able to take good care of you - and get you to feeling all better. No matter what it is, it is my hope and prayer that you will be all better soon!

Hey Melanie. I'll keep you in my prayers. Hang in there. I know waiting is the hardest part. I'm sure everything will be fine and doctors can fix whatever is wrong. You know we are all here for you and thinking of you.

I just wanted to kinda let everyone know that I went to the doctors yesterday and they still didn't have the results back which i'm not too impressed with but whatever They said it was to take a week an they still haven't gotten them. I just hope they do get the results back before i go home for the summer.

Wow, Melanie, almost three weeks and still no results. That seems very odd to me. Hopefully you'll hear something really soon. Try not to worry too much. Please keep us updated.

Melanie, I"m sorry that you haven't gotten the results back yet, but I have found that a lot of the time when I have waited and waited - it usually meant that the results were good. Almost always, they have called me within days of a test coming back with bad results. So I guess my thought to you is to believe that this is a good sign. And the test has probably come back that things are good. At least I hope they are!
