I wouldn't normally post this, but I, as well as the rest of my newspaper office are in shock right now as one of our town's police officers committed suicide around lunch time today. He was a young guy in his mid 30s and had young children. I don't know what happened or any details yet, but it is very sad. He was the one who would always come into the office and give us information for stories and such. I have never seen my editor cry before, much less as much as she did just now when she found out and told the rest of us. Please pray for him and his family and friends at this difficult time. Thanks.

Oh my gosh! His family and all those who cared about him will be in our prayers. I am so sorry to hear about this.
