I was just on PLEASE REMOVE. YOUTUBE links can only be in your profile today and found a clip of Trisha singing the National Anthem at the World Series Game 4 last October 2007. I got chills and teared up, that's how amazing she was!!! I've not heard the National Anthem sung that superbly well in a long, long time. Then I went and grabbed my Trisha collection and got to thinking this: we all know the National Anthem is hard to sing, but Trisha does it effortlessly, not suprisingly so though. We all know she can sing and we all agree she's beyond incredibly talented...but when it comes to her records, what song or songs do you think BEST showcases her stunning vocal ability? Not your favorite song of hers, per se, but songs that truly display her vocal brilliance? Any ideas? I haven't decided yet, but I know, "Down on My Knees," comes to mind as does pretty much anything on the new album, HHPOL!!! Anyway, just wondering. Sorry for the long post, but I'm interested to see what you all have to say!!! This should be interesting!

Many Blessings,

P.S. I got the CD two weeks ago and I've not been able to stop listening to it...one song I really love that is quirky and cute is "Cowboys are My Weakness," very cool! In a lot of ways, HHPOL sounds a lot like her first record, but much, much better, vocally speaking. It kind of returned her to her roots with better technology!!! I hope that makes sense! Anyway, love, love, love the new record!!! No words at all to describe how stunningly awesome it is!!! -SL
