Just in case any of you didn't know - Lori Mckenna is opening for Trisha on her tour!!! This is going to be one heck of a show.

Yes, I just noticed this on the Turning Stone website. I don't remember hearing anything about Lori. Did she play any shows on Trisha's last tour?? I'll have to do some searching so I can know some of her stuff before the tour starts, I guess....

No, Lori was on tour with Tim and Faith last summer. Tim was a producer of her album and he sang some backround vocals on it. She is a very good song writer- I think of her as more of a great folk singer vs. country. You will enjoy her set if you see her live..

Lori has also written several s9ongs which Faith Hhill has recorded including"Fireflies"
(the title song from Faith Hill's "Fireflies album which features"Mississippi Girl "and "Like
We Never Loved At All")

That is awesome! Lori is an amazing songwriter. Faith loves her and cut several of her songs on her last cd (a la Trisha with Karyn Rochelle) and then Lori released her own cd produced by Tim. I just wish they were playing somewhere close. Hoping for that when new dates are announced.

So hopefully this doesn't mean we're going to hear tons of Faith songs before Trisha comes out?

I have a couple of Lori's albums, she's pretty good.

This is awesome! I've been waiting to hear who's opening for our girl and this is better than I expected. I got Lori's new album for Christmas and it's sooo good. Now I'm even more excited for Feb. 29th!!! Thanks for the info.
