It was so wonderful! The 300 tickets went very quickly, and the Barnes and Noble worker said over 900 had come to buy books that day. This was about an hour into the signing. By the time I left, B&N had run out of all the books they ordered!!!

When I finally got to Trisha, she said she saw me in line and immediately recognized me from Oklahoma City. She said, "Weren't you wearing polka dots that day, too?" And of course I was. What a memory on that girl! This was a completely different dress, so I don't know what triggered it. She was just delightful! I also babysit for friends of Taylor and Allie, so we talked about that a little. I was worried I might hyperventilate like last time (sheesh!), but she made me feel very comfortable. She decided to stay and sign for everybody who would wait for her, so she was probably there until 7 or 8. How many stars would do that?

Beth looked like her twin! I wasn't as shocked by the physical appearance as I was by her mannerisms- identical. Even the way she tilted her head slightly forward when she laughed. I'm the only child of my family, so naturally I'm fascinated by sibling resemblances. Beth and Mrs. Yearwood were so sweet.

It was a great day, and I got two pictures! I'm a college student, yet still in the dark ages with computer stuff so...??? I kind of think posting is probably not going to happen. I tend to throw things.

I was there too! All of them were awesome. It was my first time meeting any of them- even Trisha. She truly is a very sweet person and even when you stick your foot in your mouth- like I successfully did- she doesn't make you feel like an idiot; she just simply asks your name. lol

I have some pictures too. I'm going to try to post them or at least a link to where you all can go if you'd like to see them. Going to try to be computer savvy. I am definitely not microwave or cooking savvy so you may want to wish me luck. lol

I went to the same signing. I drove 5hrs ( listed to Trisha all the way) from tx and had to get up at 4am and leave by 5am to make the 11am ticket hand out. I only had 3hrs of sleep because I have a 3mon. old. I got a ticket on the way up (not my fault ) When we finally got to Barnes and Noble bought our book and then got in line it was 10:15, we were # 46 in line at that time. After they handed us our ticket we at lunch then hung out. I remember someone saying it wasn't going to be a good turn out, so wrong! By 1:30 it was packed all the tickets had been given out. When Trisha came out people clapped and then she did a quick interview and then started signing.
It was our turn pretty quick and I was so tired and excited. I shook her hand, she signed my book, I had her sign it to me and my girls, my 5yr old is a fan, she sings Try Me from Jasper County all the time. We then had our picture taken and I was moved along. I met her mom and sister who wanted to hear about my 5yr olds song choice, super sweet ladies! My first meet was a lot more rushed than I had hoped, didn't get to say much and I was so tired I can't remember a lot about it Thank God for the picture! As tired as I was I would do it again in a heartbeat. My daughter saw the pic. of Trisha and I and she said, "Look it's the singing lady" . Next time she's coming!
