May 2, 2008 - Dierks Bentley has a greatest hits album on the way, and Trisha Yearwood has a book on "The New York Times" bestsellers list. Both of them also have a chat with Nan Kelley on their calendars, as they drop by tonight's edition of GAC's "Top 20 Country Countdown."

Dierks will release his CD Greatest Hits//Every Mile A Memory 2003-2008 on Tuesday, May 6. The next day, he'll throw a release party at the Charlotte, N.C., club Whiskey River, owned by a guy who's seen plenty of miles: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Trisha, of course, has gotten plenty of mileage out of her new cookbook, Georgia Cooking In An Oklahoma Kitchen, co-authored with her mom and sister. Both Dierks and Trisha have songs currently riding the Top 20 on GAC.

Top 20 Country Countdown counts down the week's top country videos from No. 20 to No. 1 as voted by viewers on each week on GACTV.com. A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET. It's neat that Trisha has two songs back-to-back on the GAC chart("Another Try" -duet with Josh Turner at number 7),but she has been dropping for 2 weeks steadily(now #8).I agree we need to vote,and help her up a bit(chart of course,on GAC Top 20).

Also,Trisha has moved on to the CMT Pure 12-Pack chart at number 11. If we extend a vote to her there,too,maybe she'll move up the ladder.I think the only day of the week Pure 12 Pack voting is closed is Thursday.

I think some Trisha fans may be voting for Josh's song and thats hurting Trisha's video. Regardless its doing better at GAC than CMT
