Very cool biggrin.gif ! She's a great songwriter and singer. Love that she is being honored. I am sure that Trisha will be involved in this in some way.

John Hiatt it great, he just played her in Madison Wisconsin at the Berrymore Theatre right outside my door this summer.

Good to see Matraca Berg and John Hiatt honored in this way.

Among many other things, their songs were also done by Trisha's spiritual mentor Linda Ronstadt. Matraca's "Walk On" was done by Linda in 1995 (a fact Matraca cites as one of the highlights of her life); and John's "We Ran" was the title track of Linda's unjustly ignored 1998 album.

I'm so happy for Matraca Berg. She's one of my favourites country writers.
