Trisha was fantastic tonight at the Ryman, as usual! Changed up her encore songs and did "Heat Wave" and the old song, "Smile." She was very excited about being in Nashville and at the Ryman. She was her funny, entertaining self!

I loved that she did Heat Wave! I've been diggin' Linda lately so that was really cool. I also thought Trisha looked great last night! She was having a good hair day I thought! smile.gif Umm, just the voice is what stood out to me, I kept trying just to focus on her as she sang the ballads, like Nothing Bout Memphis, just her & Steve, wow is all I can say. ohmy.gif That's why I'm a fan. That and how casual she is on stage, she was also funny about being nervous that there were so many people she knew there. laugh.gif

I agree, Trisha was wonderful as usual! I never thought another concert could rival last year's concert at the Fox here in Georgia, but I was wrong. The show last night at the Ryman was just fantastic. Her version of Heat Wave was awesome too. While I like Linda's version, Trisha's version just absolutely brought the house down.

Next up are the Peachtree City shows. I know they are gonna be awesome too!

Trisha was so awesome at the Ryman!!!! I agree Cindy, I thought that nothing could top off her perfomance at the Fox from last year. As soon as she started singing Heatwave, everybody around us were clapping and screaming - she is awesome!!!!!

Cindy, glad you got a meet and greet at the silent auction. I had no idea that there was an opportunity to go to that. Great to see you!!!

I got to meet with Trisha as well - she is so funny, adorable, and God's gift to us indeed. I showed her my Elvis purse - (it's a picture of Elvis from Aloha From Hawaii) - it lights up....... So knowing she wanted to marry Elvis as a young child, I thought she might have liked seing Elvis w/lights - she loved it.....

For people who were not able to go to the show, she sang the following:

An American Girl (xxx and ooo), The Song Remembers When, Who Invented the Wheel, They call it Falling for a Reason, This Is Me You're talking to, Drown me, Greorgia Rain, Walk away Joe, Nothing about Memphis, She's in Love with the boy, Perfect Love, Wrong Side of Memphis, How Do I live, Heatwave and her last song was Smile.

When she sang Walk away Joe, it was just her singing and Johnny playing the guitar......

All in all, it was a fantastic show in the historical Ryman Auditorium. Another show that I'll never forget even though I've seen Trisha in concert many, many times since 1991. She's always unique in everyshow she does!!!!

Yes, the show was fabulous and a great way to wind down the Summer. It was great meeting you and your friends too, Cindi! Tammy, you were missed, but I'm glad to see you're still alive!

Hey Salina and Tryce it was wonderful to see you again - Tryce - it's a really small world isn't it? biggrin.gif

It is so wonderful to be a part of Trisha's family on here ~ it truly is. I loved it when she sang "Drown Me". I listened to that song before of course on her cd, but never heard her perform it live. I was hoping she would sing a Linda Ronstadt song..... but one of my favorites by Linda..... It was all I could do to stay sitting. tongue.gif laugh.gif biggrin.gif

Heather and Johnny - awesome as usual...... Everytime you see Trisha, you always get blown away just by her voice, personality, and her talking. She is definitely someone that is very unique, down to earth, and truly cares about her fans.

What did we do before Trisha???? blink.gif ohmy.gif biggrin.gif I am honored just to see her each and everytime I can, whether it's here in Nashville, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana...... I'm a very dedicated fan of hers. Just wish radio would give her the respect she deserves on the radio......but we won't go there.

I had never heard Smile before........ When did that song originally come out?

Next to meeting Elvis Presley - who was also down to earth, Trisha would have to be my next favorite singer......... then of course Garth - meeting him - who was also down to earth ........... there are very view people that I travel to see. Trisha's a "Real Live Woman"......... and I'm so glad she shares her God given talent to us.

'Smile' was written by Charlie Chaplin for one of his movies in the 1920s.
Salina
