Since Friday, (the first time I have been out of the house for a couple of days), to find gasoline has been almost nil and none. We only had one gas station (we have 7) that had gasoline...... all the others were out of gas! I have an SUV and they were limiting everyone to 10 gallons of gas. Now in my SUV, that didn't even make the half a tank mark........ I drove about 20 miles away to another city but in the same county......... They had one gas station (and this is a moderate size city) that had gasoline but as I filled my tank (Full thank goodness) @ 4.25 @ gallon, the gas station was running out of gas....
In Nashville they are having the same problems.
Although the problem resides in the middle TN area, just curious to see if anyone else has experienced this. It was really surreal to see all of the gas stations closed Friday evening, no one on the road except for the local football game going on. My son got married (which is why we traveled 20 miles away).....
Keeping the above in mind, Saturday we all went to the drive-in (movie theater where you sit in your vehicle or outside and watch a movie on huge screen) nearby Ky, and after the movies were over - around 11:00 p.m., we were able to get gasoline AND it was only $3.77/gallon!!!
We have two scooters that we can get around with but for a vehicle, to obtain gasoline has been a very surreal, scary situation. The people have been "fending" for themselves....... it's been really scarce for gasoline here. We can ride the scooters locally in our rural city, but I wouldn't drive them all the way down to Nashville......
