I have the RFD - TV channel! I just checked a few minutes ago and I do have the channel thru DIRECTTV. Can't wait for the show at 8pm! Talk to you all later.

Yeah, I checked our cable and we get the RFD channel too!! Now I just need to remember to set my dvr!!!

Ok so I finally caught an airing of this show last night. It was so great - I haven't laughed so hard in quite a while. Trisha and Lorianne, and Miss Gwen were hysterical while baking the cakes. LOL! You can tell the friendship between Trisha and Lorianne. Will have to try to catch it again and record it. Oh, and Trisha by herself actually playing guitar on tv to sing The Sweetest Gift - simply amazing! Loved every bit of this special. The best was when Lorianne asked Trisha about any kitchen mishaps and her mom piped in and Trisha was like yeah, let's thank my mom for being here or something like that - too funny!!

I am soooooooooooo bummed that performance was not in the version of the special that I saw. How long was the show?? the one I saw was only one hour. The only song Trisha performed was "How Do I Live". :-(

Why would they show two different versions? Did anyone else see the show I saw without "The Sweetest Gift"?

A friend recorded it for me but I haven't watched it yet. I hope it is the long version, since it sounds like there were two. I am also hoping the production company will offer a dvd, since my friend has no way of recording it from her dvr. As soon as the holiday is over I am going to have to check it out.

Yeah, I saw a version online without the Sweetest Gift, I would love to see it. I think that's my favorite Christmas Trisha song, it's beautiful, & then with her playing guitar, I can't even imagine.

That is interesting. The version I saw was an hour as well but did not have Trisha singing HDIL. Hmmm?!
