Trisha is nominated for the ACM Vocal Event with Josh Turner for "Another Try." I noticed it wasn't posted yet, so I thought I'd share the good news.

I think it's Great that Another Try was nominated! However, I think again, it's a shame and more that nothing from Heaven was nominated! As usual, the award shows ignore her!

I totally agree that she deserves more nominations than she is receiving. I get so frustrated that all the attention goes to the "flash in the pan" rookies who come on the scene like a comet and fade away just as quickly. I refuse to watch the award shows any more. She has more talent in her little finger than most of them do in their whole bodies and the award shows are a joke. This is one person who won't be tuning in in April.

This Is just one more person who won't be tuning In April.It makes me so mad that HHPOL Is not even nominated for anything.They're just sweeping another one of Trish's great albums under the rug.I'm just going to boycott them this year and sticking up for Trisha.She's got more talent than any other singer out there.This Is not fair.

Trisha got ripped off from the CMA's The Grammys and now the ACM's. I dont understand why they dont like her. The ACMS are going to nominate Taylor Swift and Hedi Newfield for female vocalist ?. Taylor is a cool , trendy artist. So is newfield. But come on. And how can you not AT LEAST NOMINATE an album that was PROBALLY the most critically acclaimed during its time out. Thats why I dont like country radio anymore. Or just radio in general. Its gotten so generic again.

I agree with everything you guys are saying...trust me! I'm so frustrated with these organizations that vote for these nominees, but it is what it is and unfortunately we can't change the way things are. My intention for the post was to congratulate Trisha for even this one nomination as it is well-deserved no matter how it came about.

Yes, Trisha should be recognized more...but does HHPL even fall under the nomination period? It came out in 2007...shouldn't it have been up last year? If anything some songs should have been nominated, but she didn't really have many releases, unfortunately.

these awards are all about who is bring us in the money, nothing more nothing less. They have lost so much meaning over the years. Trisha has made amazing music all of her career but got the most accolades when she was bringing the industry in the most money. Its not a talent award anymore, its a money award.
