The publisher of Country Weekly Magazine, which is now published every two weeks, has decided to stop its subscription service and to start publishing once-a-week starting in March. People with existing subscriptions are being offered subscriptions to one of three other magazines for the remainder of their subscriptions (I was offered The Star, The National Enquirer or Shape Magazine). However, I telephoned the subscribers' service number at 1-877-566-5832 on Feb. 3 and received a credit to my credit card within two weeks for the amount remaining on my subscription. Because I just received the last issue that will be sent to subscribers (dated Feb. 23, 2009), I thought that this post would be helpful, especially if you aren't interested in receiving one of the other magazines.
