OK, so the news lately has been full of tough times, and just thinking about it gives me a headache! So I figured I would share my bridal shower stuff with you all! It is much more fun to do that - don't you think? I actually need some help with my daughter's bridal shower, and I am hoping you guys have some answers for me . . .

I picked up a Bridal Shower album to put pictures and it has pages where the guests can write their wishes, etc. in it. It also has pages to put down what we did - the games, etc. Well . . . I don't know any bridal shower games! Do any of you? My daughter-in-law finally gave me one game - and in it you use toilet paper and each group tries to make the best looking wedding gown with the toilet paper! I thought that was a cute idea. But that's the only idea I have gotten so far. So please, please help me. Let me know any games you all have either done at a shower - or had at your own shower. But please keep it clean as my mom and aunts and all will be there. OK?

Thanks ahead of time for your help! We are having the shower at my sister-in-law's house on April 18th. I haven't quite figured out how to get Jenny there and keep the secret, but that's OK. Ted is getting into the food and what he can make for the shower, and I'm just getting excited to have one for her! She's my youngest and so it realy is a big deal.

Hey Debbie, Showers...gosh I'm glad I don't have to do that again anytime soon...Let's see, one thing I know alot of people do is make a bouquet out of all the bows and ribbons from each of the gifts--you attach them to a paper plate or something and then the bride uses that for her bridal bouquet at the wedding rehersal.
Another game I've played often is like a trivia thing--you have a bunch of questions related to Jen, and her fiance as individuals and a couple...who ever answers the most correctly-wins...sort of a who knows you best kind of thing...it can be ALOT of fun hearing the different answers...another game is to have a secret word--like "picture" or "kiss" or something, and who ever uses the word first, or a certain number of times wins...Another favorite seems to be the Purse game. Before the shower, make a list of a ton of things that may or could be in a womens purse--like more than 1 key chain, or a keychain with more then say 10 keys on it...who has more than 5 credit cards--10? Lipstick, lotion, drivers license, wet wipes, diaper, condom, loose coins, tylenol, pictures, social security card, make up, mirror, address book, etc. put some off the wall items to..and then maybe add a "who has the oddest thing in their purse" and such... You read off the items from the list and the women hold up if they have the item--and get points for what they have--the one with the most points at the end of the game-wins! IT's Hilarious to see who has what!
