Trisha has made her first post on Facebook and is dropping hints about future plans:

"Ok, I know. I'm a little slow to the party, but here I am! Learning how to navigate the site as I type, but just wanted to say hello to everybody and make sure you know that even though I'm not touring this year, I'm busy! I'm working on a second cookbook, and also listening to songs for a new record. Hopefully, I will be in the studio recording before the end of the year! I'll keep you posted! Love, Trisha."

You're right! This is good news. Considering we hadn't heard much of anything until now, I'll take it. So, I'm guessing next year will be a busy year for Trisha fans. New cookbook, new record (which means new tour)...all sounds good to me.

As someone who lives near Graceland, I can tell you that signing the wall is the absolute mark of a real Elvis fan. The fact that she wanted to do that showed the Elvis staff that she really was a real fan.

I guess I'm going back over to Twitter to find her. I didn't know she was doing it. It's so much fun if you give it a chance.

On Twitter, search for tycom and you will find Trisha that way. IT is not under her name totally. And on Facebook, Trisha doesn't have a normal page like everyone else, it is a fan page. But if you become a fan, she is writing on it. Do not click on the one that has her listed as a person, she's not using that one. It is the fan page.
