Just got in from the Keith Urban concert. He's my favorite male performer (next to Garth), but this was my first time seeing him in concert. Wow, does he put on a good show! It was one of the better concerts I've been to in awhile (besides Trisha, of course). He really looks like he's having fun onstage. He puts all of himself out there and he seems like he's playing each song in that moment, rather than just going through the motions. He also seems very sincere. I had a really good time and was on my feet throughout most of the concert.

During the encore he thanked everyone for all the well wishes and especially thanked Nicole and then he sang a beautiful song that he dedicated to her. I don't know the name of the song, but I'm going to find out. If you ever get a chance to see him, go, you won't be disappointed.

I forgot to add. I know Keith is known for his guitar playing, but there's nothing like seeing him play live. He's incredible! Watching him play the guitar is a show in itself. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth.

Wow! Sounds great. I'll be seeing him for the first time in September! I can't wait. Thanks for sharing.

We saw Keith up in Vermont last August, and he was amazing! He played the guitar and the piano - and was amazing to watch! What a musician!!! His concert lasted over 2 hours, and that part really blew me away. He is so good! Glad you had a great time! Thanks for the review! smile.gif

You will definitely not be disappointed. Lots of callers on morning radio raving about how good he was. Even the morning DJ's on one of our country stations said it was one of the best concerts they had seen and that they are jaded because they see so many concerts.

Forgot to add that one of the girls I went with was talking this morning about wanting to go see him in L.A. this weekend. So I may be seeing him again.

LOL, I've seen Keithy a couple of times. He and Jimmy Wayne really ROCK the stage. ~Colleen

When we saw him - he actually went down in to the crowd! And then he brought a girl up on stage who was holding a sign asking to kiss him! It was so cool! He interacts with the crowd so much! Is he still that way??? If so - you will have a great time at your concert! smile.gif

He didn't actually go into the crowd, but he was sitting at the edge of the stage and leaning back playing the guitar and at one point he said something to who must have been security, something to the effect of "she's only having a good time, chill" and then he handed the microphone to the girl and let her sing part of the song. He seemed to be having as good a time as the crowd.

Oh and that same night I downloaded his new CD from iTunes. The song he dedicated to Nicole is track 13 "Got It Right This Time", brought tears to my eyes that night and still makes me smile when I hear it. Oh and needless to say, his new CD is excellent. smile.gif Ok, I'm done now going on and on...smile.gif.
