Hey everyone. Am I the only person having problems editing their own posts? I posted and wanted to go back and change something and it tells me I don't have permission... Is this a quirk in the board or did I mess something up?

i just edited something this morning..i think you only have a certain amount of time after the original post to edit it..but i could be wrong..srry couldn't be more helpful

Yes, Amber said once before that "the time that you can edit a post is very limited--think before you post"...so proofread your post before you send it to make sure that what you post is what you actually want to say, check for missing words, etc.

Thanks Anita and Zep for responding. I kind of remember too Amber saying something about a time limit, but in my case, I typed it and posted it, then went back and re-read it and wanted to make one minor correction. In that short amount of time, I couldn't edit it. I doubt it was five minutes.... probably less than one....

I thought it used to be that you could edit until someone posted after you, but I may be thinking of another board entirely.... oh well. I'll just have to be more careful and read and re-read before I click on "add reply".... lol...
