Lisa M. called me yesterday. She wanted me to post two things. First off, she wanted me to write a very big THANK YOU to Jan! She loved the signed picture and card that you sent her. It really did make her day! She was so touched by what you did for her, having Trisha sign the card and picture. That was so sweet of you!

The 2nd thing Lisa wanted me to tell you all that she had the big scan (now I am not good at remembering medical details but I am going to try my best here!), she had the scan and the radiation treatment. I guess the scan showed that there is no more cancer inside of her! Which was wonderful news. I guess she will go back in two weeks for another scan. She has one more treatment left and then they will do the scan again to see. But things look very good. She is in the trailor in isolation and so if anyone wants to send her cards or call, she is there. She also thanks everyone for their prayers.

She sounded really good and upbeat. Which I was glad to hear!

Lisa - we're all praying for you - that you will come out of this even healthier and stronger. God bless!

Lisa, you are so welcome! I hope it cheered you up.

Debbie, as usual, thanks for your kind words.

Thank you Debbie for the update. I talked to Lisa early last week and know she doesn't have her computer in isolation with her but she said she was taking all of trisha's cds with her. Please send her my best and my prayers are with her. Thank you for keeping us updated!!!! It's hard to be a mom and a wife and be isolated in their travel trailer away from everyone but my prayers are with her. I'll send you a p.m.

I will try to give Lisa a call this week. I will give her your wishes and prayers. She sounded really good though, when I talked to her. I was so glad about that part. But I will definitely let you know how she is doing after I talk to her again. Thanks everyone for your good wishes, I will pass them along to her.

Oh, and Jan - it was great seeing you again too! smile.gif

It's always good to hear when someone is told they are cancer-free. I really hope that she never has to go through that again. I've never had cancer myself, but I did have an aunt who died from it. I wish her a speedy recovery.
