There's lot of new stuff on the current listings to talk about. Trisha Yearwood has the week's highest debuting song, "Heaven, Heartaches and the Power of Love," which enters at No. 49. It's her first showing on her new label, Big Machine Records. That also happens to be Swift's label, so you know there's an epidemic of high-fiving back at the home office.

Funny thing, I've only heard the song four times on our country radio outlet here in the City of Angels, Go Country 105, and they seem to like playing it at or around 5:30 in the morning. Call me cynical (politically incorrect would be an even better term), but I think they like playing it at that time so they can get it out of the way and get back to playing what passes for "country music" the rest of the day.

I think it's a good song. Not necessarily great (yet), but a lot better than the "mall crawler" stuff that turns me off to the country format in this day and age.

GoCountry has played it each time I requested. The Mid day lady is really good about request.

As for the single, my station isn't playing it much---but then, my station stinks!

They finally played the song here in central PA over the weekend. It was really exciting to hear it on the radio. I actually sprinted across the bakery (where I work) to turn the radio up. I was jumping up and down! Thank goodness my co-workers tolerate my craziness!!

I have yet to hear this song here on my local station. They seem to be playing a lot of Trisha's older stuff, but nothing new and especially not HHPL. Maybe I'll just have to call in tomorrow and request it
