There are so many good songs on that album that never got to be singles. It is always sad when that happens.

I know what you mean. Even when there is exciting new stuff going on, I always wonder "what if" about single choices. I have had my share of would be single picks, but the JC situation was just wrong. "Wheel" (I'm especially bitter about this one) and "Good Stuff" were crying out for radio play.
Here's hoping Big Machine will have the sense to push the "good stuff" Trisha turns out!

I agree. That was the album that missed the boat. I think Pistol should have been a single along with many others.

I think "Sweet Love" could have been a very successful single, if released...and promoted (ahem... MCA).

I still think "Try Me" with Ronnie Dunn would have been a hit on country radio. It was the type of song that I think would have fit right in with what they play.

I have to be honest, while I liked Georgia Rain, I thought the last album left a bit to be desired when it came to break out single tracks. As a whole it was a good disc, but it was not material really suited for overplay on country radio.

while some of the songs would have been great singles...others just wouldn't work on radio..but thats wat i love about trisha's reccords...she doesn't just record a song cause its suited for radio...i think some of her greatest songs were never singles...nd country radio listeners r def missing out

I totally agree. I've always thought that too.

While I did like other songs on JC, I believe that only "Wheel" would have had better credibility as a single, at least insomuch in comparison with what else was/is played on the radio. Just my 2¢...
