According to cmt.com, today marks the sweet 16th anniversary of "She's In Love With the Boy," Trisha's very first single, going number one! Has it been that long? Gees, I'm getting old! rolleyes.gif Seems like only yesterday that I was 15 years old, a freshman in high school and first hearing of a couple of singers named Garth and Trisha that I grew to love so much. LOL Here's to many more number ones to come with Big Machine backing our favorite girl. tongue.gif

I was just 2 months shy of turning 5 years old and I loved the video for "Shes In Love With the Boy" I loved it!!! Who knew I would love every other one of the songs from that "Pretty blond lady"(Cory 4 year old talk) 16 years later. I will be 21 in October! Still a fan! I cant remember a time in my life when I didnt call myself a Trisha Yearwood fan

Happy Sweet Sixteen SILWTB.I can't believe It's been 16 years since I got so hooked on Trisha.I was 10 about to turn 11.I've followed Trisha's career from the beginning so I remember It well. You know I can still remember hearing Trisha for the first time.I was riding down the road with my parents when they played SILWTB for the first time.I've been lucky enough to meet Trisha 5 times in the last 16 years.Trisha's so so so sweet.I think the world of her and love her a lot.Man I still can't believe It's been 16 years.Man I'm getting old.

Around that time sixteen years ago (August 1991), I was between steady jobs, doing odd jobs a little bit and camping most weekends. It was a cool time, but all good things eventually have to come to an end. smile.gif It would be a month and a half later before I got my next steady job, which ended up lasting over four years...and man, did I stay at that job too long. wink.gif Live and learn...

I just remembered this morning I was In the 4th grade when Trisha came out with SILWTB.So I am getting old.Still getting something new of Trisha every time you turn around.I still love her as much as I did when I heard her for the first time. The only other thing Is I've met Trisha 5 times.I won't ever regret It for as long as I live.Trisha's such a sweetheart.Trisha knows how much I love her.She just don't know how much I listen to her.Just about all day.

Danielle

I was engaged to the love of my life who had came back from serving in Desert Shield/Desert Storm from August 90 to March 91 - We met in April 91 - truly love at first sight - our first song was She's in love with the Boy, Although we were in our mid - to late twenty's...... lol...... our wedding song - with my husband wearing his dress blues (Army military suit) was Garth Brooks Two of a Kind, Working on a full house - coz he had two sons from his previous marriage. We finished our full house two years later and it's been the best years of our lives with us just celebrating our 16th anniversary last weekend!!!! Now the full house has two kids grown and out of the house with our baby in high school...... Yes, time flies......... but My husband and I have been Garth and Trisha fans from the very beginning!!!!!
