I am a Nascar lover! I look forward to 2 sports seasons...football and Nascar. I am a proud Jimmie Johnson fan, however I like to root for the veterans sometimes, too, like Dale Jarrett and Mark Martin.

I am a Dale Jr fan!!! I adore him. lol..nascar rules! My dad is a Tony Stewert fan. Every week were competing with each other.

Hey Mel - you know that I love NASCAR - but it's by accident! Mike just loved it, and as his mom - well, I didn't want to miss out on time with him or things to talk about. So we started watching it. Now I love it! My favorites are Jimmy, and Kevin, and of course Ryan Newman for Mikey! But I like a lot of the drivers! smile.gif

Add another NASCAR fan to the list.... let's see, in our house we root for Tony Stewart, Jr., Jeff Burton, Harvick, Mark Martin, Stremme, Biffle....

Enjoy the races this weekend biggrin.gif

Hey Mel - did you see the race yesterday??? Jimmy did it! But I felt bad for Tony - he sure did drive his heart out too! And Jeff got back on the lead lap too at the end! It was a pretty good race!

DID I see...I WAS THERE...lol...OMG....Once again, I was ashamed of Jeff, yet totally understood, and if I had been in his shoes, would of said same things..First time I heard him say some things over the scanner...oooweeeee...poor Steve ...but I was proud of how Steve calmed him down and got him back on track. And MAN did he drive those wheels off the car...and we are still 2nd in POINTS...YEAH BABY

I got some decent pics at Driver Intros....OHHH..btw..CASEY MEARS, tv and pics don't do him JUSTICE....that BOY is CUTE, hubba hubba...better looking than JR. Jeff and Ryan...He's whoaaaaaaaaaaaa...very good looking inperson and as sweet as Ryan Newman...yeppers I got to meet Casey Mears Sunday and got my CAR signed....I even got to rub his head.....smile.gif....

Oh wow! That is so cool Mel! I didn't know you were there, I would have tried to spot you in the thousands that were there! lol! j/k!!! biggrin.gif Sounds like you had a great time!

This week's race is Bristol - I'm not a big fan of that little bitty track. But . . . I guess it is part of the circuit. It should be a lot different than the last few races though.

smile.gif..Hoosier....David Stemme was a sweatheart to my son in ATL....He was signing along with Reed Sorenson. But for some reason Reed failed to show, and David appologized to Dylan and even signed his 41 car...smile.gif....what a Class ACT David is. I was in Casey Mears line, and had the 40 car by accident with me...sad.gif...

UGGG BRISTOL....LOVED it yet HATED IT....WTG KYLE for HMS....look where Jeffie is....finished 3rd and #1 in POINTS. I really loved the fact that while he was behind, he slowed up and didn't interfere with Tony's pit stops. I know Zippy asked Steve for a bit of help and when they mentioned it to Jeff, he said no problem untill he got back in the chase to win. I got mad when Tony's car messed up....Would of been a good run for the Checkered Flag with Him, Jeff, Kyle and Jeff Burton going for it all...also Harvick as well....smile.gif....

I also must add that JB showed truely what a decent MAN and RACER he is. He could of put Kyle into the wall to win, but raced him clean and he usually does for everyone. Thats exactly why I told Mr. Richard Childress I Loved it when they signed him on. Jeff Burton won't do anything negative for the Team on purpose.

I thought Jeff Burton showed true class, and I loved what he said afterwards. He said that if he can't win without putting someone in to the wall, he won't do it. I thought that really showed true honor and integrity.

I saw that Jeff was #1 in points! Congratulations! I too was upset when Tony's car had trouble. He had the best car out there, until then! What a bummer!

What did you think of the new cars??? I wasn't sure that they were all safer, but maybe they are.
CharliKay1
It's getting to complicated. I'm not to sure about this COT.... I was just watching Dale Earnhart specail and it was so much more driver skill then today. NO spotters, no radios to communicate, just the driver out there giving it his all. Now don't get me wrong the drivers today need plenty of driving skills, it just seems to be alot less technical.

I'm with you, Jeff Burton is truely in a class of respect. There are a few driver's that would have put him in the wall and not looked back.

Love that we're sending some love out for my boy - RYAN NEWMAN!

All the way - he's adorable and sweet and kicks butt on the track when they actually get him a good car... lol.

My son absolutely loves Ryan Newman! He's had a quiet year this year, but does seem to be doing better each week. Last week, I think he ended up in the top 20 - although I'm not sure. But I keep wishing he would finally win!

Jeff Burton IS a class act. The sad part is, some of the other drivers were probably saying, "why not," when told why JB didn't do that just to get the win....sigh....
