My husband and I decided to take our girls to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame this past Saturday to give us something fun to do after the first week of school. Of course, I wanted to go to see what they had on Trisha! But my girls love music and singing so I knew they would have a great time! They had a music listening station for Jasper County and then some great pictures and one of her T-shirts on display! They have a great kids area for the kids to play and make different kinds of music which my girls absolutely loved. My 3 year old was playing the drums, a piano, and jumped on a walking piano (I don't know what you call it!). We had to drag them out of the place! But when we came out of the kids area my husband told me to look over the door! There was a huge neon sign that said Real Live Women and it said it had been donated by Trisha's hometown with her permission! Absolutely cool! The bad thing is I did not realize the battery's for my camera were bad. My husband promised he would take me back! I did get an autographed picture of Trisha in the store. They had several of her CD's also but I already have all of them. Besides Trisha it was really neat to see all the musicians that have come from Georgia. I kept saying to my husband, "I did not know so and so was from Georgia!" LOL! Sorry so long winded but I just had to tell someone who would understand my excitement!
